We are a collective of yoga educators who have come together to create a unique, foundational yoga teacher training. All three directors trained at the Nosara Yoga Institute, which has an interdisciplinary / vinyasa based approach to yoga. Forming the Yoga Collective of Nosara brings the unique individual experiences of Daya, Julian and Yali into this training as well as their shared experiences in working together.


Daya Danielle Radl

Daya became dedicated to her yoga practice when traveling to Nosara 23 years ago. She has since become a life long practitioner dedicated to her spiritual path. Yoga is her lifestyle as mother, wife, grandparent, and educator.  She has studied interdisciplinary yoga with Don and Amba Stapleton receiving her Yoga Alliance E RYT 500 hour and 1000 hour NYI certifications. Daya is a faithful kundalini yogi who has served as a Professional Trainer of the Aquarian Teacher Academy assisting + teaching in Kundalini Yoga Teacher Trainings Level 1 & 2 at Yoga West Los Angeles with Guru Singh 2007-2020. Daya has completed over 1000 professional hours of training in various yoga schools and traditions. She brings this breadth of knowledge into her teaching and training programs. She has assisted and program managed numerous trainings for the Nosara Yoga Institute, including HeartRise Children's Teacher Training and Inner Quest for the Yoga Educator.

Working privately with families and kids teaching mindfulness and yoga strategies is another passion for Daya. She also teaches public classes in kids, teens, teen athletes, adult vinyasa, adult kundalini, restorative, pre/post natal yoga classes along with teaching at Meadows Elementary School in Manhattan Beach. She is a mentor and trainer for Mind-Up Program as well as a Yoga Ed Trainer. Julian DeVoe

Quick with a smile, a boisterous laugh and a light heart, Julian DeVoe is an advocate for consciousness, bliss and thriving health.  Through the practices of yoga, personal inquiry, and conscious touch he encourages self-development and community elevation.  With over a decade and a half of yoga practice in a variety of disciplines, he teaches an interdisciplinary approach that is tailored to the participants.  Julian offers strengthening, yin, alignment, breathing techniques and kids yoga with a sense of playfulness for all skill levels.

He currently teaches internationally, specializing in a variety of purification practices for the body, mindfulness techniques to sharpen self-awareness and spiritual ascension.  He works as a Cranio-Sacral Therapy facilitator, Vedic Thai Yoga therapist and Shamanic Energy healer.  Julian is an evolutionary at heart and is an unwavering advocate for anyone on the path of personal growth and human achievement.  

He has taught at the Omega Institute in Rhinebeck, NY, Kripalu in Lenox, MA, Nosara Yoga Institute in Nosara Costa Rica, Sivananda Ashram in Paradise Island, Bahamas, Soul Camp East 2016 & 2017 and many other yoga studios and centers across the country.  He has spent the last 2.5 years living and working in the Peruvian Andes guiding people through Shamanic plant medicine experiences.  He is the author of two books: Robust Vitality and a book of verse, Insights Out.  For more on Julian visit: www.juliandevoe.com

 
 

 
 

Yali McGregor

Yali teaches at The Bodhi Tree Yoga Resort in Nosara, one of Central America’s leading yoga, fitness, and wellness centers. Her offerings are built upon a foundation of Ashtanga, Vinyasa Flow, complimented by inquiry-based moving meditations that seamlessly merge tradition with a measured application of contemporary influences and movement forms. 

With many years of Pranassage experience (bodywork/yoga synthesis), she is known for intuitive, exquisite hands on assists during class, especially in shavasana.

Yali believes the chosen path along the yoga journey varies according to the specific needs of the individual. After two decades spent immersed in the study, instruction, and practice of yoga, Yali’s greatest strength is the ability to guide students toward transformation, healing, freedom, contentment, and deep connection, by showing them how to bridge the gap between their practice (sadhana) and their lifestyle.

She believe’s that strengthening ones connection to oneself provides the optimal platform for anyone seeking to merge the individual self with the universal self, and thus experience the true essence of yoga: Love, Acceptance and Connection to Source.

Yali has been a lead teacher for Nosara Yoga Institute’s Teacher Training programs working directly with Don + Amba Stapleton, who put Nosara on the map in the yoga world.

She is certified as a NYI 1000 hr, Yoga Alliance 500 hr. E-RYT and holds a Diploma of Yoga Studies with Wellpark College of Natural Therapies as well as a Bachelor of Communications Studies.

She remains ever grateful for the wisdom and knowledge that this practice and her many teachers from Yogic, Buddhist, Taoist and other Wisdom Traditions have bestowed upon her, she thus is dedicated to sharing these insights via creative, dynamic, innovative and compassionate instruction.
